I started Gemini Homes in 1994 right here in Mackay. I’ve been in the building industry since 1976. My initial trade was a Carpenter and Joiner. Prior to starting Gemini Homes, I was building in Mackay under my own name (G & D Stritzke Builders).

I recognised very early that Mackay was in need of quality building services. Mackay was a small town back then. Your reputation soon gets around if you are good. That’s why we adopted a policy of training apprentices (school based and adult) and encouraging associated trades to also take on apprentices.

As a result, I have some of the same tradespeople still working for us today, 20 years on. We have a collection of some of the best tradespeople in Mackay devoted to building to our very high standards. That’s why our building quality is second to none.

This is the Gemini Homes difference! We are self-sufficient across the building process. Ensuring high quality standards from start to end.

Gemini Homes is a one stop shop. We offer design and draughting of Council plans and we have a fulltime interior decorator helping you with colours, fittings and design.

We regularly build new Display homes showcasing the latest in design and fitting options.

Most times we have 3 or 4 display homes on show at any one time.  We make sure there are no surprises! When we quote one of our display homes, everything is included in the price along with a list of inclusions.

Even land choice is taken care of! We purchase land ahead to ensure stock availability for clients in the current market and future estates being developed.

Our trained salespeople can easily customise one of our extensive existing plans to suit your budget and lifestyle.  They also make allowances for a possible shed /pool etc in the future.
